FIRST CONTACT

We set up up a video conference where you describe what skate blade profile you are using and how it affects your skating. We use that profile as a reference on what to adjust.  You don't have to know all technical details you just refer to a feeling or an ability. This meeting is free of charge.

If we believe that we are able to help you becoming a better skater we will offer our services. You decide if you want to continue and start testing skate blades with different profiles.

FIRST TEST

We will profile four (4) different pairs of new skate blades based on our initial meeting. One or two pairs will be our direct interpretation based on your description. Two to three designs will be profiles for power strides and for better maneuvering. Each pair will be numbered 1 to 4 and you will not know what design is on each pair. In the shipment you will have a test guide on how to test the blades. You test the blades according to the instructions and take notes on how they perform in all abilities stated in the guide. 

If you provide the blades, the cost for the first test is 600$ (USD) / 600€ (EUR) or if we provide the blades the cost is 900$ (USD) / 900€ (EUR). 

ADJUSTMENTS

From the first test, you pick the best pair of skate blades and keep it as a reference. Do not skate on these blades or sharpen them until the next test. You send us the other three pairs.

We adjust the profile on two pairs and send them to you again for testing. The third is kept for the final stage. 

You test the adjusted profiles and compare them with the reference skate blade. If the profile needs further adjustments we repeat the process again.

Each update cost 300$ (USD) / 300€ (EUR).

FINALIZING & DELIVERY

When you reach this stage you have found the most suitable skate blade profile for your skating skills.

You send us all skate blades and we will profile all blades with your custom made profile.

At the same time we make a 2D CAD-drawing based on your custom profile and laser cut profile templates for the most common profiling machines. 

You will receive the four pairs of skate blades, profiled with your custom made profile as well as templates for the profiling machines.

Next time you need to adjust your skate blade profile, just hand over the custom template to your Equipment Manager.

The final delivery cost 4000$ (USD) / 4000€ (EUR).
